The plan: a reusable Swift package — paywall, onboarding, widgets, storage, auth — so a new app could spin up in under a day. Day 3 of a 7-day plan, I stopped.
The lesson: a framework is a bet that you know what the next five apps need. I didn't. Copying the last working app and deleting what doesn't apply is faster, and every clone improves the spine.
Frameworks are extracted, not built. I'd read that a dozen times. Now I've paid for it once, which is worth more.
